We view parents and educators as partners in children's learning and encourage families to visit the children's learning spaces through our "open door policy''. Families have an open invitation to be at the school and be involved with the children's learning day and family programs.
Families can become involved with the school in many ways:
- sharing a special interest or skills with the children during investigation time;
- helping out with book club or library loans;
- becoming part of the Green Team or the Fresh Taste Team;
- participating in the schools events and celebrations;
- participating in parent education activities;
- joining the GEMS Parent Association or;
- attending school gatherings
